Madam I think you do right to omit the steel when the little fellow is flushed – If you add to each dose of

carbonate of natron
& of Rochelle salt <5 grains> x grains it will counteract any heating effect of the steel –

I believe the semolina is made of Sicilian wheat – North & (on Bridge St – supply it – I am told there are 2 sorts – one 8d one 20d the pound – I never saw the latter nor indeed heard of it till yesterday – but I have ordered some
