Thomas Beddoes to T. G. Estcourt, 27 July 1808

My dear Sir

I was not unmindful of my promise to write to Mrs J Estcourt, if any thing occurred for the advantage of Mastr Edmund – I hope the cool weather has been of service to him – I think he shd have plenty of ripe berry fruits & so shd all other children – He has never had the muriate of lime which I hold to be the best medicine of all for such constitutions, though it be not agreeable at the first – If you & Mrs Estcourt think he needs any thing please to send the inclosed to Talbot Druggist Wyne St Bristol –

With my compts to the ladies of yr family I remain
Dear Sir
Yrs very faithfully

Thomas Beddoes
