Thomas Beddoes and Anna Beddoes to Davies Giddy, 7 or 8 August 1805
I don’t know whether we shall be back tomorrow I doubt it much
T.B.
As the Dr seems to doubt whether we shall return tomorrow perhaps my brother & your sister will go on before us & we shall join you at Bodmin. I know you would not wish me to lose this jaunt.
--------
Will you write a line to Mrs Jenner 2 York Place saying how I was hurried off & that if she finds no difference she may go on with her medicine – also call on Miss Ferber & say I doubt about home tomorrow – also call on Miss Dashwoods & say the same – vz that I meant to call to see Miss Auriol but was packed off in a chaise & 4 – & that she may go on with her medicines –
You may add anything flattering you please –
T.B.
Will you be so kind if you go before our return, as to seal up my little bunch of keys with your own seal, & give the parcel to Mary Anne who is to remain behind if you go and to go on with us – yours AMB
