Dear Giddy

I trouble you to frank the inclosed to

Little Anna is now lying excessively reduced In about 5 days she was unable to stand & in about 3 more to sit upright – Except ΒΌ of a pint of cold water & 6 grapes she took nothing willingly since Monday sennight – Her mother, returning from an interview <with her father > xxxx at Gloucester last night, was struck with an idea that she cd not recover you see how much she is reduced – in consequence her recovery will be slow – (for I think her pretty well out of danger – ) & that it must be purely the effect of medicine – she is now too weak to sit up in bed or even to be propped up for any time – Mrs B will no doubt write your sister particulars, if she desires them – I am
