Dear Doctor

I embrace the opporty offered by Mr Benson’s departure to bring myself once more to your recollection.

Mr Benson – junr I suppose – has been a little benefited by his voyage – I think his case is one of those in which there will be a hard contest between the disease & medicine— Shd. he get better, I shall be happy to communicate a sketch of the treatment; if you desire it – If he does not, it will not be worth while –

Begging that you will excuse this scrawl on acct of hurry I am
