Thomas Beddoes to Thomas Wedgwood, 19 December 1803

I have given oxygd muriate of potash in pills – otherwise 12 grains in an ounce of lemon or distilled aromatic water.

Lemon juice I believe does better than mineral acids – I often prescribe saline mixture an ounce with 2 drams excess of lemon juice & 15 to 20 drops of laudanum

Be so good as tell yr sister Sally that her letter came safe – As I can expect but few such enclosures – However Hobhouse wrote to me 3 days ago to say a friend & himself meant to contribute – & desiring to know what had been subscribed –

Also a rich London MP merchant desired 12 copies to distribute
Yrs truly

Thomas Beddoes
