Thomas Beddoes to Richard Phillips, 18 September [1803]

Dear Sir,

The next thing I have to do is to write a tract for your journal on the Influenza. This will perhaps have more interest for many readers who may begin to tire of communications such as I have sent you –

How I wish to write this to the purpose – but want some better information from Paris that I have met with – In Corvisarts journal or in Recueil periodique there is a report from the physicians of the Hotel Dieu – Can you borrow me or in any way procure me by the end of this month it wd serve the cause of that paper very much

It might come in Sheppard’s parcel by Hurst.
Yrs truly

Thomas Beddoes
