Thomas Beddoes to James Watt, 1801

Dear Sir

I was a good deal struck by your letter – I had a number of franks before me, & I find I have sent note <drt> for £104 to Mr Boosey which note <drt> was designed for Mr Zach^y Walker in repayment of a sum laid out by Mr R Boulton’s desire at Hambourgh. As the bill was made payable to Mr Z^y Walker, Mr Boosey to whom it was sent will return it – & I beg you to inclose the 2 letters under cover to J. Greene Esq MP Hotwells Bristol
