Dear Sir

Miss Porte a young lady in whom I can promise a most agreeable companion in a postchaise is going to Derby –

Her fathers carriage meets her at Birmhm – If your departure & that of Mr G Watt suits her time, & you wd suffer her to be of your party, it wd be an excellent accommodation for her; & I shd feel much obliged to you.

I do not know what to say about Mrs Beddoes
