Thomas Beddoes to Matthew Robinson Boulton, 22 November [1799]

Dear Sir

Having at last received Mr Busch’s & Mrs Matthews’ acct from Mr Collins, I enclose the amount thirty four pounds fourteen & six pence with many thanks –

I hope you have received the Mag. Encyclopedigine – If not I will make what enquiries are yet possible –

Will you thank Mr Watt for his letter – we shall attend to his contributions – Davy however hurt himself greatly by his application & is now in Cornwall – & I am too busy to make chemical exps

Our 3rd deplorable patient is much better & will I trust be rendered a human creature again

Remember me to James Watt & believe me
