Thomas Beddoes to Davies Giddy, 30 August 1798

Dear Giddy

Pray distribute the inclosed – I hope your mother is better – I have been much hurried. My long journey to the north has brought me the charge of the health of the 2 elder Lamb(ton)kins, & as they will be with me some months – perhaps years – I am to do my best to get them instructed – for all this the compensation is very large – We are concluding a bargain for the site of the Bristol Philosophic theatre – When Davy comes, I hope to hear from you – You may as well send what little has been subscribed by him Indeed I believe it is all within your own family I believe –

I am yrs in haste
