Thomas Beddoes to Matthew Robinson Boulton, 19 August 1798

Dear Sir

I instructed Lovell Edgeworth to deliver my letter in person & to write me your answer – I wished to save you trouble but I find he has left Mr Keir’s suddenly – & I wish to know from you whether you can do me the favour I ask – otherwise it will be too late to get books from the Leipsic Michs fair –

When the Magazsin Encyclop – accumulates to a vol. or two, if you will lend them me, I will take care to return them within 3 weeks after their arrival.

I am
Dr Sir
your obliged
& sincere servant

Thomas Beddoes
