Thomas Beddoes to James Watt, 15 September 1796
Dear Sir
I shd have sent you an additional half sheet, <2 or 3 days ago> but I cd not get it from the printer’s though I called once & sent twice – Indeed I fear I shall be obliged to shorten the pamphlet. They have not done half a sheet a week since they began – & I do not see any sign of more speed – I never have had so much trouble with a piece of printing before & never will again – I must stop my present man & contrive to put part into better hands – I will publish the week after parliament meets –
I shall print the Calcutta <Bombay> paper as an appendix with something from America.
I request you to send me the two plates of your supplement immediately under cover to J. Hare Esq MP Clifton – that I may get them engraved –
Yours truly
Thomas Beddoes
