Letter 47 - The Letters of Robert Bloomfield

47. Robert Bloomfield to Thomas Park, 3 December 1800*

Wedn. Dec 3d 1800

Sir

I have this instant received the enclosed letter. I hope this seeming termination of the affair will be received by my friends as by myself, with a conviction of its being infinitely Better than giving to the lawyers the produce of the poem, which produce I esteem a testimony of the public in my favour, and as such should wish to retain it.

Respects to Mrs P and family

Your Obnt

Rob Bloomfield
