Letter 43 - The Letters of Robert Bloomfield

43. Robert Bloomfield to George Bloomfield, [November 1800]*

Dear George

I send, in the deuce of a Hurry, a small Dutch cheese for my Mother; and as the packet contains a letter for sister Isaac, should be glad to have it at Honington as soon as possible. How do you come on with Smy? I am up to my backside in business; at Eleven on Saturday I must sit still to be stared at by the famous painter Edredge. [1]  Who would not be a poet? I am realy almost sick of all that belongs to it=ecept the profits; well said interest.

Good night.

G Bloomfield

[in George Bloomfield's hand]: Mrs Glover Honington Suffolk by Sparhams Miller. I hope to see you tomorrow your son George all well
