We should be much obliged if you would take the trouble of examining our last account which we find comparing with that of the preceding year does not correspond. I have inclosed those which you sent last year supposing they may the more readily show how the error has arisen—if we have not misunderstood them, the correction of them will reduce the balance due to you, somewhere about thirty pounds, bringing it nearer the sum which you found it on repairing to your warehouse book (ie) 'More than £220.'
