Letter 387 - The Letters of Robert Bloomfield

387. Hannah Bloomfield to Thomas John Lloyd Baker, 9 May 1824*

Shefford May 9th 1824

Sir

We are much obliged by the kindness of your reply to our request which I received this morning. I will avail myself of the address you have furnished me with to write to Mr Cooper—Our sale will take place here at Shefford in preference to London as there can then be no doubt of the articles offered for sale having belonged to my father, and we feared by removing them to London, besides being expensive, a doubt of their identity might exist. We shall be obliged if when it is convenient to you to send the letters, you will direct them to Mr Hawyes's, 12 Providence Row, Finsbury Square, as we intend leaving Shefford immediately after the sale.

I am Sir your Obed Servt

Hannah Bloomfield

Address: Ll Baker Esq, / Hardwick Court, / Gloucestershire, / May 9th
