Letter 24 - The Letters of Robert Bloomfield

24. Robert Bloomfield to unknown correspondent, [? March 1800] *

Dear Sir

I am much too ill to venture the acceptance of Dr Walkers Ticket for this evening's meeting. It would be an act of the utmost improvidence. The unavoidable noise that must occur on such occasions would drive me mad. You must excuse me. And keeping the Ticket would be useless I have inclosed it that it may introduce some other friend

And am yours, with respects to all the party

Robt Bloomfield
