BLOOMFIELD'S BUTCHERS HORSE. Sir,
OF the melancholy Fate of the Horse stung to Death by Bees I have repeatedly heard: but Mr. Bloomfield in speaking of a distant Transaction has mistaken the part of the Village in which the Butcher liv'd. Since I remember Troston there has been no House whatever opposite or nearly opposite to that in which I live: nor any very near it except that of a Tenant, which is on the same side of the road and has been new built since I came to the Estate. And there is indeed no place where the suppose'd House could have been, opposite or nearly opposite to this: as neither my Great Grandfather Maddocks, nor his Brother who succeeded him here, nor my Uncle Mr. Edward Capell would have built one so situated; or consented to its being built. Mr. Bloomfield can of course have no objection to have this Error corrected. And I wish you to do so in your next Number by inserting this.
I am, Sir,
Yours very sincerely,
CAPEL LOFFT
