Letter 172 - The Letters of Robert Bloomfield

172. Mary Bloomfield to Hannah Bloomfield, 11 July 1805*

july the 11th 1805

Dear Hannah

I do not hardly know what to begin with, but in the first place I can tell you that to day is bet's birth day. I have seen the panorama of gibralter, and I could almost have got into one of the boats, for it was so natural, I have had my ear rings took out, because my ears were so bad, I cannot tell you how the shifts fit for we have not had them on yet, they did not come till tuesday, and honour washed them yesterday, Charlotte is learning to work, my father had a good laugh at Charles's letters I have been thinking this half hour for something more to say, but I cannot find any thing so good bye,

I remain your ever affectionate sister
